SRM has been active in Curaçao since 2009!
Curaçao, a Dutch Caribbean island, is known for its beaches tucked into coves and its expansive coral reefs rich with marine life. The capital, Willemstad, has pastel-colored colonial architecture, floating Queen Emma Bridge and the sand-floored, 17th-century Mikvé Israel-Emanuel Synagogue.
SRM has been invited by Zadok Ministries International as a partner in ministry in Curacao since 2009. Zadok Ministries is actively engaged in a variety of projects around the world. With a mandate to reach every nation, Zadok Ministries trains and equips leaders to train and equip other leaders. ZMI partners with many ministries and ministers in prayer, active participation and support. ZMI follows the example of the Church at Antioch, setting apart Barnabas and Paul for ministry to other lands (Left, Pastors Lovelace and Ether St. John, Zadok Ministries, Photograph by Stephen).
(Acts 13:1-3) - Now in the church at Antioch there were prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen (who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch) and Saul. While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” So after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent them off.
SRM's primary place of service is with Iglesia de Deus, Church of God, with Pastor Wilbert Blanc. Rev. Stephen has been hosted at this church many times and is warmly welcomed. IN 2018, Stephen shared messages of hope and encouragement from John's gospel. These three evening services were well attended with standing room only - we look forward to returning when it convenient for Zadok Ministries International and Pastor Wilbert. All visits are also conditional upon the remission of the Covid-19 pandemic and international / health safety guidelines and protocols. Read more about SRM's Covid-19 Protocols and guidelines.
