Rev. Dr. Stephen McAllisterRev. Dr. Stephen McAllister (B.Sc., MBA, M.Div., D. Min., DIS), is the founding pastor of Spirit Renewal Ministries. Stephen is a minister with The Fellowship of Christian Assemblies of Canada. He has served as a minister with congregations of The United Church of Canada in Ontario, New Brunswick, and Newfoundland.

Stephen is a graduate of Regis College, the Jesuit Faculty of Theology at the University of Toronto, with a Diploma in Ignatian Spirituality. He completed the Ecumenical Doctor of Ministry program at Catholic Theological Union in Chicago (Concentration – Spirituality), and earned a Master of Divinity, Queen’s University, Kingston, ON.; a Master of Business Administration, University of Western Ontario, London, ON, Richard Ivey School of Business; and a Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering, University of New Brunswick, Fredericton, NB. Stephen is a spiritual director and has been trained in the Ignatian tradition.

Research and Publications

His recent research focused on Wesleyan / holiness theology and the renewal of declining mainline liberal protestant churches in Canada.

He is the author of What God Has Promised You, a study for individual and group reflection on Paul’s epistle to the Romans.
